Tours 2010

Un viaje en bote por el rio Telire hacia una bella cascada en el lado de Panama. El tour completo dura cerca de 4-5 horas entre el viaje en bote, una pequena caminata y tiempo para disfrutar en la cascada y banarse en la misma.

Viaje a la Casa Conica de los Bri-Bri en Amubri. El tour nos lleva a la comunidad de Amubri a visitar esta interesante estructura donde se explican las distintas creencias religiosas y culturales de los Bri-Bri. Ademas incluye un almuerzo en la misma comunidad.

Tour de 2 dias/1 noche por las montanas de Talamanca. Incluye un viaje a caballo y caminata hasta llegar a una cabana en la selva del lado de Panama ubicada al lado de una maravillosa cascada. La alimentacion, caballos y transporte necesarios estan incluidos. Este tour requiere personas con buena condicion fisica y con gusto por la aventura y la naturaleza.

Ademas de los tours anteriores existe tambien la posibilidad de tomar clases cortas de Bri-Bri, asi como la posibilidad de realizar algunas actividades de voluntariado.

Carbon neutral travel - Reforestation project

A carbon footprint is a measure of the impact our activities have on the environment, and on climate change. It is related to the amount of greenhouse gases produced in our daily activities through burning fossil fuels (for electricity, heating, transportation...). It is “the total set of greenhouse gas emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, event or product” (UK Carbon Trust 2008 "Carbon Footprinting").

There are different ways to reduce our carbon footprint, one of those is reforestation. Reforestation is the only type of carbon emissions' mitigation that removes CO2 from the atmosphere. Also, it is known that deforestation is responsible for about 25% of climate change, making reforestation a vital part of reducing emissions while providing time to transition to a clean energy economy.



We have a reforestation project in Talamanca where you can help reduce your own carbon footprint while you travel. You can combine your trip with some CO2 offsetting and help make your travel carbon neutral. Be part of climate-change mitigation.
